Dynamics of initial spacing on the diameter of hybrid Eucalyptus grandis x Eucalyptus urophylla in a systematic design

چکیده

We evaluated the effect of initial spacing on distribution Eucalyptus grandis x urophylla tree diameters in a Nelder wheel design. The study area was west-central Brazil. A design with three repetitions used. This provides 432 planting spots per plot/repetition. Planting density varied from 0.50 m² to 41.25 m². diameter at breast height measured for all plants every four months until 36 age, totaling eight measurements. description developed by fitting probability functions each and age. quality fit using root mean square error percentage, Pearson’s correlation coefficient, Kolmogorov-Smirnov test (α < 0.05). spacings up 1.17 must be harvested less than two years, since it is noted that third year increment static mortality rate increases. highly affects structure population, impelling forester consider different uses wood. For wood requiring larger diameters, above 8.69 recommended

Growth promotion mediated by endophytic fungi in cloned seedlings of Eucalyptus grandis x Eucalyptus urophylla hybrids

Eucalyptus cultivation has expanded considerably in Brazilian systems, leading to the current search for technologies to optimize growing conditions and the production of seedlings in nurseries. Based on the understanding that the development of tree species such as Eucalyptus sp. can be influenced by endophytic fungi that act directly as plant growth-promoting species, cloned seedlings of Euca...

Phase change-related variations of dome shape in Eucalyptus urophylla x Eucalyptus grandis shoot apical meristems

Shoot apical meristem (SAM) domes derived from five different outdoor and in vitro sources of juvenile and mature Eucalyptus urophylla x Eucalyptus grandis akin genotypes were compared. Overall measurements of SAM dome height H and diameter D ranged from 2 to 35 μm and 20 to 80 μm, notwithstanding significant differences according to the various physiological origins of plant material investiga...

Genetic linkage maps of Eucalyptus grandis and Eucalyptus urophylla using a pseudo-testcross: mapping strategy and RAPD markers.

We have used a "two-way pseudo-testcross" mapping strategy in combination with the random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) assay to construct two moderate density genetic linkage maps for species of Eucalyptus. In the cross between two heterozygous individuals many single-dose RAPD markers will be heterozygous in one parent, null in the other and therefore segregate 1:1 in their F1 progeny foll...

Temporal dynamics of the response to Al stress in Eucalyptus grandis × Eucalyptus camaldulensis.

Lipid peroxidation and root elongation of Eucalyptus grandis × Eucalyptus camaldulensis were studied under stress conditions in response to aluminum (Al), a metal known to limit agricultural productivity in acidic soils primarily due to reduced root elongation. In Brazil, the Grancam 1277 hybrid (E. grandis × E. camaldulensis) has been planted in the "Cerrado", a region of the country with a wi...
